Swim to a better body!

Many people believe their way is the only way. I have gone back and forth this way ever since I started training in 1979. We all need something to improve our bodies. If you don't know what you need seek a qualified professional for an assessment. If I am not learning my new task I am not open to improvements. Learn what the new task can give you by doing it. Get help from an expert in that field and practice, practice, practice...

Swimming lends many things to bodybuilders, powerlifters, and weightlifters. Cardiovascular fitness is not the least of these benefits. Swimming demands we rotate (internally & externally), extend, flex, elevate, and depress our shoulder structures and joints. Swimming frees us from all the limited ranges of motion lifting weights requires at times.

This video is dedicated to swimmers. As lifters we can quickly see why lifters should be teaching lifting and swimmers should be teaching swimming. This post is dedicated to people getting out of their box and finding a professional coach in another discipline to help you improve in your sport. The slide squat is also known a s a side lunge. In all overhead movements the bar should finish over the crown of your skull (he only recommends this on the overhead lunges).

Find a swim coach. Tell them you want to learn three strokes. Inform them that you lift, in whichever discipline you follow, and you want to liberate your shoulders, torso, and hips from the repetitive nature of lifting weights. Take only swimming instruction from them! If they take you away from the pool find another swim coach.

Get stronger doing YOUR workout!
