Range-of-motion-is-important

ROM

flexibility
He is mobile, strong, and agile. He is an athlete.
Mobility, or range of motion (ROM), is a common topic for discussions these days. The simple facts are that we only need to be a little more mobile than life, or our sport, requires us to be. Stretching, mobility work, corrective exercises, and the like are distracting us from actually training our bodies. Get mobile enough to
train and train. Then, spend time working on mobility after skill work and strength work have been completed for the training session. If we spend this time wisely the return on invested time and effort will be quicker and more profitable. Most do not need to do the splits yet we all do need to put our shoes on without help. Stay or get more mobile but maintain training and get stronger, faster, and more coordinated. Training is healthy.

Get stronger!                                                                                                   docsgym@live.com
