Top-five-DC-towns-for-personal-training

Personal training in the DC metro area is different than anywhere else. Being a personal trainer in DC, Bethesda, Arlington, Rockville, Chevy Chase, Potomac, Frederick, Germantown, Gaithersburg, Alexandria, and the rest of Montgomery County has awarded me great success. I grew up here, so I understand the people for the most part. They are driven, motivated, seek success, like fine things, and will usually get the job done earnestly. We as trainers are luck to be here. I will outline my top five places to train in this area:

1.      Bethesda, MD

I put Bethesda, MD at the top of my list simply because I have spent the most time training people here. It is close enough to Dc to allow easy transit. The parking can be a challenge but it is available at a cost unless you live there. There are not many places you can train as an outside trainer but we will get at Kensington, MD later. Restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and anything one may want to do are at your fingertips in Bethesda. People in Bethesda like high quality items. People here will train with you once you show your quality to them. There are no quality gyms for a serious athletes in Bethesda. They are all fitness centers offering a little bit of everything. When I open my gym I will look at Bethesda very carefully.

2.     Chevy Chase, MD
Chevy Chase lies between Bethesda and the DC border. This is a very results oriented town. The people who live here are professional and highly skilled in their work. For a restaurant you may have to travel a few miles to DC or neighboring Bethesda. The people here are very earnest in most of their efforts and will train with you once you prove your worth to them. There is only one training facilities available to the general public in Chevy Chase proper. It is a fitness center.

3.     Washington, DC
I grew up in NW, DC. I love Dc simply because I grew up here and know my way around the city. DC offers a great assortment of fitness centers. People in the District range wildly from the President of the Unites States to homeless people. Restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and most other things are available if you know where to look. Rock Creek Park is a great place for training outdoors. I am unaware of any facilities allowing outside trainers. I anyone knows of any please contact me and we can communicate. DC is also a place of interest when I open my gym.

4.     Rockville, MD
Rockville is just north of Bethesda. It is marginally bluer collar than the previously described towns and this allows a greater training propensity in the community. Any amenity described in any of the towns above is available in Rockville. I have trained great people in Rockville. The work hard and have a lot of fun along the way. Rockville has few facilities I will call gyms. Most of the facilities are fitness centers. Most fitness centers on the East coast do not allow outside trainers to use the facilities.

5.     Kensington, MD
Kensington is a small bedroom community east of Bethesda and north of DC and Chevy Chase. There is a great gym allowing outside trainers to use the facilities for a monthly fee in addition to membership. The gym is mostly a bodybuilding gym but powerlifters and weightlifters can take a workout there. These people are a mix of blue collar and professionals. Much like Rockville. There will be at the end of the post next to my contact information. I train people at Team Eckenrode, Gym and Fitness. Kensington sits next to Bethesda and Rockville. All amenities described in those descriptions apply to Kensington.
Training has been a great thirty year journey for me. I have spent all of my adult life helping others achieve their wants and needs around southern Montgomery County, Maryland. I will always be available for training or advice if anyone wants to communicate just reach out and I will respond as soon as I understand your request.

Keep training and Get Stronger!
